Rodgers Draws Trump-appointed Judge in Capitol Riot Case
Arraignment scheduled for Oct. 4 in Washington, DC
MIDLAND, Mich. — U.S. District Judge Trevor N. McFadden will preside over the case of Jeremy Rodgers, the former candidate for Midland City Council who was charged with multiple felonies for his alleged role in the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot.
The random assignment of Mr. McFadden is a significant break for Mr. Rodgers, who faces multiple years in prison if found guilty of the U.S. Deptartment of Justice’s most serious charges against him.
